I am a Suffolk potter and gardener. I make fine porcelain tableware, hand built from thin sheets of paper porcelain, which I then decorate with hand painted pattern.

I have been making ceramic work for the past 25 years since graduating from Camberwell college of art in London.

I have always worked as a gardener alongside my studio work even during my time in London. I enjoy the physicality of garden work and close contact with nature in contrast to the quiet, solitary time in my studio.

I exhibit and have sold work in various galleries nationwide, mostly making small runs of designs, but I have also completed a couple of very large orders, one for The Conran shops in London, Paris, and Japan in 2010 for their Handmade in Britain collection, and in 2016 for Anthropologie New York.
