Claires art is an expression of her passion for the natural world.

Her walks across Norfolk and Suffolk landscapes provide excitement to interpret the kaleidoscope of ever-changing light, colour, shape, and movement as she travels through intimate and expansive spaces.

She works in mixed media, creating a vivid and vibrant palette of tones to give her artwork an intensity of colour using pastels and acrylic. Whilst incorporating linseed oil, charcoal, and ink to create monochrome scapes to reflect a stark and atmospheric representation of the natural world. Most recently, she has developed a method of using collaged monoprinting techniques and applies these methods into her current works.
