"inspired by the seasons and the ever changing light"

Claire Kerrison

Claire completed a degree in printed textiles in 1993. She has worked for various charities running creative activities and art projects for all ages and abilities. Her artwork is influenced by her natural surroundings creating landscapes inspired by the seasons and the ever changing light of her favourite locations Norfolk (where she lives) and Suffolk. Colour, movement and light are fundamental factors of her art.

However her most current work incorporates linseed and charcoal creating monochrome landscapes reflecting a stark and atmospheric representation of the natural world.
