"If you have passion, you can fulfil your dreams ..."

Kristina Tonev

Kristina Tonev is a fine art student in University of Suffolk, Ipswich.  After graduating with distinctions in art and design from Suffolk New College, Tonev embarked on a journey into the conceptual art in painting and sculpture, focusing on the connection between the human body and mind. Individual Liberty, Openness and Completeness are the inspirational starting points in her practices.

Kristina Tonev is currently an intern at the Laurence Edwards Bronze Foundry in Halesworth, Suffolk. Tonev has won several prestigious awards in Lithuania, where she was born. After moving to England in 2009, she has exhibited her work around the world, including New York, Shanghai, Rome, France, London, and Suffolk. She was featured in local and national magazines like Murze, Suffolk Magazine, Suffolk-Norfolk Life, Ipswich Star, About Fram and Artfix New York.

The artist lives in Saxmundham, England, with her young family and three four-legged friends. When she’s not studying, working, or in the studio, she’s outdoors showing her 5-year-old son the magic of nature.
