“I have always had a love of the countryside and nature. Having grown up in East Anglia and now living in Suffolk, I am lucky enough to be surrounded by different birds and animals which inspire my work.”

“With with oil paints I try to represent each animal or bird in a naturalistic way, striving to capture their spirit and vitality. I use the gold leaf to emphasise and enhance the fragility and preciousness of the natural world.”
