Diana McKenna is a mixed media artist and photographer who draws her inspiration from the natural world.
Travelling is an important aspect of her work and in the past she has visited the Amazon jungle in Peru, the Atacama Desert in Chile, the Great Barrier reef in Australia and the Sinai desert in Egypt. She has a studio in Suffolk but her paintings can be seen at galleries and exhibitions.
“I first came to the Waveney Valley in 1972 – via a chance encounter which was to change the course of my life.”
“The wildness of the Waveney Valley appeals to me – the river, the water meadows, the reed beds, the birds and the big expanse of sky.”
“I work in a variety of materials and especially enjoy printmaking.”
