"handmade tableware to enhance the lovely food enjoyed around your table’"
Helen Nottage
Having spent over 45 years working for the NHS as a District Nurse (or Community Nurse as I am now called) I decided a few years ago to revisit my passion for pottery.
I hadn’t thrown on a wheel for 50 years as, in addition to my fulltime nursing career, I had a herd of Holstein cows, which I milked and showed.
I enjoy throwing and handbuilding and love playing with design and colour. My aim is to produce handmade tableware to enhance the lovely food enjoyed around your table and also to give as unique gifts.
In addition to my community nursing job, which I still love, I now rear venison and lamb for the table on my small grass farm, and have a studio offering a variety of workshops throughout the year.
The workshops give people of all ages the opportunity to learn a new skill, meet like-minded people and spend some time enhancing peace of mind and wellbeing.
