James Maberly studied at the Ipswich School of Art followed by the Norwich School of Art and Design, between 1988 and 1993. He then taught sculpture to BTEC and Foundation students at the Suffolk College before leaving to take up art full time.

He has had many exhibitions over many years in the UK, the USA and Africa and has produced a large variation of work over that time. He is currently represented by Muse Sculpture, who exhibit across the country. In 2022, he held two very successful exhibitions in Norfolk and Suffolk.

James has been running drawing and painting courses by Zoom (with a long distance group in New York for over two years) and also weekly in Earl Soham on Monday evenings. Please contact him if you might be interested in attending or finding out more.
