Philip was born in Norwich and after living in various parts of the UK, he now resides in Gorleston where he lives with his wife.  Philip paints mainly in oils and takes his inspiration from favourite East Anglian rural and seaside haunts.  He also undertakes commissions of pets and portraits, which keep him busy during the winter months
