"... Norfolk heritage is reflected in her paintings"

Sara Edwards

Sara paints bright, contemporary landscapes in a distinctive geometric style, which play with the topography of Norfolk’s countryside. These include scenes of the Norfolk Broads, beaches, farming and the seasons.

The paintings are often composite scenes which amalgamate Norfolk features and landmarks and are suggestive of far-reaching views in the County. Sara is the daughter of a Norfolk farmer and granddaughter of a Norfolk wherryman, and this heritage is reflected in her paintings.

Sara exhibits regularly at exhibitions and with galleries, as well as working on commissions of landscapes, homes & gardens and pet portraits. She teaches workshops in acrylic painting and drawing at her studio and at art groups. Visitors are welcome at the studio in Framingham Pigot by appointment.
