"...maintaining a community where watercolour artists can socialise and share knowledge"
SEAW "Waterfall"
The Society of East Anglian Watercolourists is a member-led society that aims to promote the medium of watercolour by providing exhibiting opportunities to watercolour artists in the region, organising regular painting opportunities for members and Friends of SEAW and maintaining a community where watercolour artists can socialise and share knowledge.
The society was inaugurated in 2007 with the help and guidance of the Royal Watercolour Society and their then president Richard Sorrell. Currently 120 members are made up of Full Members and Friends and drawn from the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. Honorary members are drawn from the ranks of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and the Royal Watercolour Society.
