I am a visual artist, inspired by the Norfolk countryside, wildlife, travel and the depth of human emotion.  I studied art and design at school enjoying the ability to express myself through drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery and batik (which I later enjoyed in Indonesia where it originated).

I try to express the texture of the countryside in my paintings using either impasto and acrylic or oil. I also enjoy the therapeutic effect of more detailed work with pencil, pen and ink to capture the character of the local wildlife and my favourite genus, birds.

I use wire and plaster to convey the breadth of human emotions through sculpture.  Using my personal experiences and those as a life coach to visualise and express the emotions we sometimes struggle to recognise and reconcile.
