"calm and relaxing seascapes"
Shirley Easton
Shirley is an artist who is based on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.
It was in late 2019 Shirley was diagnosed with Breast cancer which was the start of many changes in her life, including her Artwork. She never picked up a paintbrush for over two years but through encouragement from her husband she started to paint again and soon started to realise that painting was playing a huge part of the healing process and her wellbeing.
Shirley’s outlook changed and longed for a calm, peaceful and quiet life and that is when she decided to paint calm and relaxing seascapes to reflect this.
Shirley gets her inspiration from the magnificent East Anglian skies and coastline.
Being by the sea is definitely Shirley’s happy place.
