Tony James Lodge (TJ) is a Suffolk born stylised colour artist, his go to medium is acrylic on board or canvas.

After leaving art school Tony started a career as a freelance commercial illustrator and has amassed a portfolio of diverse clients and subjects over 20 years.  He developed a mainstay of medical, cookery and children’s illustrations for leading publishers.

“My return to Suffolk has led to an indulgence of painting for pleasure, with the absence of a client brief or deadline.  This, I believe, shows in my colourful effervescence and unrestricted paintings. My journey remains full of endless images that need to be celebrated in acrylic”
